Business need
The client approached us with the concept of building a dating app with special functionality, the main idea being various online events – festivals, concerts, etc. During the show, people could meet and communicate with each other and add to their friends list, thus gaining people close in spirit, mood and interests.
1Initial Information
First of all, we had to build a clear overall project vision. Due to the initial analysis, we identified a list of the basic app features which need to be implemented in the first place, and those that may be added in the future. After gathering key information, we estimated the development timeline. Also, given that the client needed a long-term partnership, we’ve discussed the possibility of further product support.
2Data analysis and clarification
The primary goal of design in that case, in addition to visual appeal, was to be intuitive and user-friendly. Considering these requirements, several wireframes were designed, among which the best options were selected.
3Analysis outcomes
Within the shortest terms, we confirmed all development nuances. The technology of choice was Flutter. In addition, the client was additionally interested in third-party integrations, the application release process and overall workflow planning.

Twilio Integration
Ziroop has qualitative communication between users via text and video using the Twilio Technology.
Profile & Subscription System
After registering, the user simply follows interesting activities, can buy a ticket for a certain paid event or book a subscription.
Various dating rooms
During the show, people could talk to each other in different rooms: small groups on the terrace, tete-a-tete at the bar, or in their own private rooms.
Development Process

As the final development result, the app must deliver equally superior performance on all mobile devices. That’s why, prior to starting development, it was determined that the application would be created on Flutter, as the cross-platform solution was exactly what was needed. The mobile device market is divided into two major OS categories – Android and iOS. In such an environment, developing an app for both platform types can achieve maximum audience reach. Flutter is best suited because of its native performance.
Users Accounts
Before customers can use the app, they must register, which is done through mail and phone number. The account specifies contact information and personal preferences that can be seen by other users. All users can edit the information related to their account after registering.
Event Organization
The main menu displays a list of ongoing and upcoming events available to join or book. A separate menu “My Events” allows users to easily keep track of their interesting activities and those that have been held. Streaming happens in real time, smoothly, steadily and without delays. Organizers have a choice of standard and 360 live broadcasts of their activities.
Rooms for socializing
During events, users can enter four types of rooms by joining: a public chat room, a bar where face-to-face conversations take place, a terrace where groups of six talk, and private rooms where users with subscriptions converse to each other separately. At any time, participants can switch from one room to another or find a new company to socialize with.
Other features
In addition to the main features, many smaller ones have been added to provide a pleasant user experience. Among these are the ability to listen to the radio 24/7, broadcast the event to other devices, and notifications important to the user. You can always find the person you’re interested in via geolocation by selecting a dating radius.

Results
As a result of our work, the customer got the product he wanted and all requirements were met. The architecture chosen gives all application functions a stable performance on all devices. At the pre-release stage, we discussed further cooperation, which resulted in a roadmap for future updates.
